NSW: Teveton Centre Nup to the Cup Luncheon Party

Yes Tuesday 1 November is Melbourne Cup Day but ‘Nup to the Cup’ is not about celebrating Melbourne Cup – but rather it is to celebrate animals.

We will still celebrate with fun, laughter, stories, champagne, fancy outfits (or not), fascinators, crazy hats and good company.

Nup to the Cup is to be held at the Teveton Centre. The former venue for Ballina and District Riding for the Disabled Association NSW.

Come to celebrate  non-humans and the joy they give us humans.

Bring a plate to share

Bring a photo of your pet/s – past or present and a story to share

Bring a donation of $20 for the Coalition for Protection of Racehorses. This organisation started ‘Nup to the Cup’ and works to make the public aware of the abuse in horse racing.

Drinks (cold and hot) to be provided
