GETTING STARTED

Nup to the Cup events are now being held around the country to celebrate animals – not exploit them. And you can be part of it no matter where you are.

We encourage you to organise anything from a small gathering at home with friends to a major fundraiser for animals. We’re here to help!

We have prepared all you need to make it a fun day with a minimum of fuss.

Support Kit

We want to help make your Nup to the Cup event as easy, fun and effective as possible. One way of doing so is providing you with a Nup to the Cup Support Kit for a discounted rate. There are two options below.

Starter Kit 1: Office Pack
6 x A2 size posters
1 x 2100mm long x 450mm high paper banner
2 x t-shirts
1 x sticker pack
Information leaflets - number subject to amount of attendees
Total cost $100

Starter Kit 2: Small Party Pack
6 x A1 size posters
1 x 4100mm long x 900mm high paper banner
2 x t-shirts
1 x sticker pack
Information leaflets - number subject to amount of attendees
Total cost $130

NB: if your Nup to the Cup event is also a fundraiser for CPR, we will provide this support kit free of charge (subject to approval). These can be displayed at your event and used as giveaways.

Please complete our Nup to the Cup registration form here, and tick the correct box in the support kit section. For support kit delivery, please also be sure to include your postal address.

Once your registration form is received, we will be in touch regarding further arrangements including available poster, banner and t-shirt options, payment details (if required) and potential promotional support.

We kindly ask that even if you are not vegan or vegetarian, to please make your event plant-based.

Event Checklist

This is by no means an exhaustive checklist for how to run an event. Its focus is on the nuances in relation to running a ‘Nup to the Cup’ event.

Your event could be just a few friends getting together or it could be a large fundraiser. The larger the event, the more time you’ll need to get organised.

Checklist:

  • Decide if your event will be private or public
  • If it’s a fundraiser, choose your organisation and let them know. They may be able to provide you with logistical support and volunteers
  • Pick your venue: this could be your home, backyard, local pub or restaurant, park or community hall
  • Catering: keep it simple and keep it plant-based. The animals will appreciate it
  • Promote your event: if it’s a public event, make sure you take advantage of social media and of course register your event on our website. We’ll help promote it (subject to approval). NB: we will not share details of your event unless it is public, and you agree in the form that you are happy for us to. (link to register your event page)
  • Nup to the Cup Kit: order one in time for Cup Day. If you would like to order extra items such as posters, merchandise etc, please let us know. To ensure delivery on time, please order by 1 October. See available options below.
  • Document: on the day of the event, remember to take lots of photos. You can upload your photos and we can share the happy vibes with the world and encourage others to do the same. (link to submit your photos)
